Dr. Benjamin Warta was born and raised near Abilene, Kansas. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology and Life Sciences at Kansas State University, and received his Optometric Physician degree from NSUCO in Oklahoma. Dr. Warta was a member of the honor society Beta Sigma Kappa while completing his education and received the Phieffer Award as the top graduating clinician. He also has received honors for excellent clinical skill in contact lens fitting and for research in pediatrics and vision therapy. Dr. Warta is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Warta feels it is important that he gets to know each patient, so that he can custom design glasses, contact lens, and/or surgical options for each patient’s needs. Dr. Warta’s expertise includes specialty contact lens fitting; LASIK and refractive therapies; eye disease; high altitude dry eye therapy, children’s vision, and sports vision.
Dr. Warta and his wife Erin enjoy traveling, skiing, and biking with their two children.
