LASIK Accolades

"I got LASIK on Monday. Dr. Kouyoumdjian had been recommending it to me and my husband for at least six years because we both have astigmatism. I was at the point of getting new glasses and contacts so cost of the surgery was no longer an excuse. I am sitting here less than 72 hours after getting LASIK... and my vision is incredible. I think it may be better than it was with contacts and/or glasses. The entire procedure took about 30 min with the actual LASIK taking 16-18 seconds per eye! Yesterday at my 1 day follow up I was 20/20 in both eyes. I know that LASIK is not for everyone but I was a candidate and am now wondering why I did not do this sooner."
