Summary

Optical staff are a critical component in delivering superior quality care and products to our patients. Professionalism paired with a sincere desire to meet and exceed the expectations of our patients is required. We require all opticians to be ABO certified as well as attend numerous training opportunities both in house and outside our practice. Fashion as well as function are an essential balance in interacting with patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Frame styling and cosmetics
•    Perform Frame adjustments and minor repairs
•    Salesmanship – strong ability to close sales through education of the patient.
•    Order processing along with frame returns and inventory control.
•    Working knowledge of all insurance plans accepted by the Company and how to maximize the benefit for the patient.
•    Assistance with keeping clean the frame displays, dispensing area and back office workspace at all times.
•    Strong phone and computer skills along with familiarity of an Electronic Health Records (E.H.R.) systems.
