Optomap Retinal Exam

The Optomap Retinal Exam provides a 200-degree view of the retina without dilation. This scan gives our doctors the ability to detect such problems as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and ocular hypertension without dilation.

Heidelburg Retinal Tomography (HRT)

Heidelburg Retinal Tomography (HRT) is an innovative system that combines a laser-scanning camera and specialized software that evaluates the optic nerve. The HRT may diagnose glaucoma years before symptoms become apparent to the patient.

Pachymetry

Pachymetry testing measures the thickness of the cornea, which is critical in evaluating LASIK laser corrective eye surgery as an option to treat refractive errors.

Contact Lenses

VCS has all options available in soft contact lenses. From the daily wear lens to the two week disposable to the monthly disposable, we can provide you with the ideal lens prescribed by your doctor. We also can offer you gas permeable lenses that are advantageous for specific prescriptions and other corneal conditions. If you would like to change the color of your eyes, we have lenses that can do that without compromising the health of your eyes.

Sunglasses

It has been clinically proven that exposure to the sun and its UV rays can cause serious damage to the eye and your vision. To allow you to enjoy yourself in the Colorado outdoors, Vision Care Specialists has a complete selection of prescription and plain sunglasses for you and your family. We have all lenses from polarized to tinted to lenses that change from light to dark for your needs.
