optomap® Retinal Exam
The optomap® Retinal Exam provides a 200-degree view of the retina without dilation. This scan gives our doctors the ability to detect such problems as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and ocular hypertension without dilation. Our doctors highly recommend an optomap® at every annual eye exam!
Heidelberg Retinal Tomography (HRT)
Heidelberg Retinal Tomography (HRT) is an innovative system that combines a laser-scanning camera and specialized software that evaluates the optic nerve. The HRT may diagnose glaucoma years before symptoms become apparent to the patient.
Pachymetry and Pentacam
Pachymetry testing measures the thickness of the cornea, which is critical in evaluating LASIK laser corrective eye surgery as an option to treat refractive errors. Pentacam is an instrument used in refractive surgery evaluation to provide an exact map of the corneal thickness prior to LASIK or PRK.
