In an effort to assist our elderly patients currently on Medicare that may have extensive medication costs, below is a link we have identified on the Social Security site under the Medicare tab.  This specific page addresses the process to apply for help with prescription drug costs and may give some financial help to those currently receiving Medicare coverage.  This is information only and Vision Care Specialists and their employees are not able to access the site specifically for you, however, you may visit the government website and investigate this more thoroughly for yourself or a family member that you care for.

• Call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778) to apply over the phone or to request an application, or
• Apply at your local Social Security office
