Dr. Lee Guo, O.D., F.A.A.O. is native to Denver, Colorado. After completing his bachelor of science in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin, he went on to achieve his doctorate in optometry at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2013.
Dr. Guo has always been passionate about ocular disease management and pediatric eye care. During his optometric education, he completed double externships in ocular disease and refractive surgery and provided eye care to low-income families through the NSU Eye Care Institute’s Kids in Distress program. He achieved Dean’s List honors and was recipient of the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award in 2013.
In 2014, Dr. Guo completed residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida, where he provided primary and on-call ocular emergency care to local veterans. In 2015, he became an honorary Fellow of the Academy of Optometry through his work surrounding uveitis, ocular trauma, and infectious keratitis. He is member to the American Optometric Association and Colorado Optometric Association.
Dr. Guo is guided daily by the adage, “treat all patients how you would want to be treated.” He brings this simple practice philosophy to his work every day at our Lakewood office. When not practicing optometry, Dr. Guo enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
