Dr. Neha Patel Sitole is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon. Dr. Patel Sitole went to medical school at the University of Missouri where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class. She did her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago and completed her oculoplastics fellowship at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University.
The doctor did a fellowship to further specialize in disorders affecting the eyelids, eye sockets, and tear ducts.
She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has worked in both academics and private practice and has been involved with teaching of medical students, ophthalmology residents and oculoplastic fellows. Her interests are functional and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, forehead, and midface. This includes eyelid tumors, eyelid malposition, pediatric eyelid pathology, thyroid disease, tear duct disorders, and botox/fillers.
In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
