Zachary Lundgren is originally from rural Minnesota and attended Concordia College for his undergraduate studies. After his time at Concordia he went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Lundgren’s externship training includes the prestigious Mayo Clinic of Minnesota, where he assisted in the training of ER residents in emergency eye care. In addition, his experience includes training at the White Earth Indian Health Center, Tyndal Air Force Base, and Omni Eye Specialists of Denver. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society as well as the Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Lundgren has been practicing in Colorado since 2017.
Dr. Lundgren’s love for eyecare began at an early age when he was diagnosed with nearsightedness. He has turned his experience in to a passion of helping others achieve their very best vision and eye health. Dr. Lundgren special interests include specialty contact lenses and the management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Lundgren enjoys all of the outdoor adventures that Colorado offers and some of those hobbies include hiking, skiing, mountain biking and exploring RMNP. He is a Minnesota sports fan and enjoys playing ice hockey and drinking craft beer in his free time.
