Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanical Gardens: This gorgeous celebration of the holidays amplifies the beauty of wintertime flora with multicolored lighting. Open nightly, Nov. 25, 2016, through Dec. 31, 2016, from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Adult prices range $11-$13.

Holidays at the Colorado Symphony Orchestra with Handel’s Messiah: Celebrate the holidays and the new year with one of the most iconic masterpieces of Classical music, the Messiah by George Frideric Handel. The show will be held at Boettcher Concert Hall on December 16th and 17th at 7:30 pm and on December 20th at  4:00 pm. The last one is a sing-along! Book today.

The SantaLand Diaries, a Clever Christmas Play: Based on a short story by comedy writer David Sedaris about his time working as a Macy’s elf, this play is recommended for adults, so leave the kids at home. A break from the common Christmas show, the show runs from Nov 25 – Dec 24, 2016. Tickets start at $25.

The Nutcracker, Presented by the Colorado Ballet: The classic Christmas show, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker suite continues to wow crowds with its stunning music as well as its unbelievable dancing and staging. The ballet will be performed many nights between 11/26/2016 and 12/24/2016, but tickets sell fast, so get them while you can.
