Seeing Denver: This Season at the Denver Center For Performing Arts

As the weather starts to cool down over the next few months, it’s time to shift your focus to more indoor activities. Fortunately, with four locations throughout the metro area the Vision Care Specialists team is constantly on the lookout for the best Denver activities and events to help you enjoy the mile high city regardless of the weather. One great activity as the holiday season draws closer is to head to Denver’s very own Center for Performing Arts to catch one of their great upcoming shows. Here’s a full list of what to expect in the coming months which includes both great drama and some holiday favorites:

November

  • The Book of Mormon Oct 22nd – Nov 24th

  • The Most Deserving Oct 11th – Nov 17th

  • Jackie and Me Nov 15 – Dec 22nd

With an enticing variety of shows ranging from The Book of Mormon’s comedic angle to A Christmas Carol’s thought-provoking holiday message, there are shows in the next two months that everyone can enjoy. And if you’re really just a thespian at heart, then you should certainly look into taking a 90 minute guided tour of the Denver Performing Arts facility. At just eight bucks a person, this comprehensive tour will take you backstage to see the professional dressing rooms, costume and design studios, as well as right on stage. For true theater lovers living within the Denver area, this is an experience you probably don’t want to miss. Tours are every Monday and Saturday and start at 10 am.

But before you buy those tickets, make sure you’ve had a recent eye exam. You don’t want to miss any of the performance due to an outdated prescription!.
